VA Hospital donation
Mount Sinai Chapter #42, Holy Royal Arch Masons of Copperas Cove Texas, donated water to the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs Volunteers Service at Temple Texas. The Veterans Affairs office was very appreciative and grateful for all that we do.
Secretary of the Year
February 1, 2020, John W. Cave #36 (Leonard D. Wheeler), Holy Royal Arch Masons of San Angelo, Texas received the Secretary of the Year Award during The York Rite Weekend in Austin Texas.
Making Black History Everyday
2020 Alvin Gaston HRAC No.54 gathered together in Waco, Texas to commemorate Black History. The theme for the evening was "Making Black History Everyday".
El Paso Black History Parade
Holy Royal Arch participated in the Annual Black History Parade. The Chapter setup a booth and provided information on the mission of Royal Arch Masons in the State of Texas. They also provided food to all those in attendance.
Andress High School Black History Program
El Paso Holy Royal Arch supported the Black History Event at Andress High School. The Companions purchased all the food, cooked it, and served for the students and parents at the event free of charge. The Chapter has been in high demand this year and have been able to provide support to all the organizations that made request. They also donated eight cap and gowns for graduating Seniors that could not afford to purchase them. Pebble Hills High School Taste of Soul
El Paso Holy Royal Arch supported the Test of Soul Black History Event at Pebble Hills High School. The Companions purchased all the food, cooked it, and served for the students and parents at the event free of charge.
Hueco Elementary School Supply Donation
El Paso Holy Royal Arch delivered school supplies to Hueco Elementary School on 14 February. The students and teachers were all very grateful and came out to give thanks to the Companions.
Chapter of the Year/EHP of the Year
Mount Sinai Chapter #42, Holy Royal Arch Masons of Copperas Cove Texas received the Chapter of the Year Award and Excellent High Priest of the Year during York Rite Weekend in Austin Texas.
Cap and Gown Donations
Mount Sinai Chapter #42 supported graduating High School students for year 2020 by providing donations for cap and gowns. Donations were given to Copperas Cove High, Ellison High School, Shoemaker High School, Killeen High School, Harker Height High School, Belton High School, and Temple High School. Everyone was grateful for the donations and thanked Mount Sinai #42 for the support.
Annual MLK Spaghetti Fundraiser
was represented by Comp. Charles Hunnicutt (Scribe) in the Annual MLK Spaghetti Fundraiser hosted by Waco NAACP. Alvin Gaston Chapter was tasked to deliver orders, monetary collections, and food preparation.
Back to School Supply Donation
Mount Sinai Chapter # 42 supported Mr. Russell Jenkins at 710 S. 5th Street Fairweiw / Jewels Elementary School Copperas Cove Texas and Mrs. Dona Champlins at 910 N. Main Street Copperas Cove Texas Hettie Halstead Elementary School with Back to School Supplies.
MLK Celebration
Mount Sinai #42 fellowshipped with the City Mayor, Pastors, NAACP membership and other leaders in the Central Texas area in order to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. Masonic dignitaries in attendance were District Deputy Elvis Kirby, Past Grand High Priest Roosevelt Huggins, and Past High Priest Edmond Jones.
MEGHP Tate conducted an official visit to Mount Sinai Chapter #42. He was accompanied by Special District Deputy Victor Wiggins and he dedicated a sword to the organization while providing some words of wisdom.
